I've had many computer science projects over the years. In highschool, I made a rudimentary Connect 4 app that included an AI to play against. At BSU, I've had several group collaboration projects, from making snake in Assembly running on an LCD display to working on a large GitHub repository for the senior design class.
Most of the programming I've done has been in my free time, though. My main project is a voxel game engine and game in the Rust language with OpenGL. I've been working on it on and off for a while, and it has taught me a lot about low level programming, since I had to do the graphics, networking, and audio from scratch.
For the final project, I haven't set in stone my group member yet but I think it would be fun to do something with graphics, since that is something I am passionate about. I would probably make a simple demo showing a rotating cube or something with WebGL.
I think something music related could be interesting as well - I believe this idea was mentioned in class but something like a playable piano on the web wouldn't be too hard and is a cool idea.
